The route

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 01

   Arrival in Kathmandu

   Welcome, hotel transfer, trek briefing, and gear check.

2. Day 02

   Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding

   Take a mountain flight to Lukla and begin the trek to Phakding.

3. Day 03

   Trek to Namche Bazaar

   Cross suspension bridges and climb to Namche Bazaar.

4. Day 04

   Namche Acclimatization

   Hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung, then rest in Namche.

5. Day 05

   Trek to Tengboche

   Walk to Tengboche or Deboche with views of Ama Dablam.

6. Day 06

   Trek to Dingboche

   Continue to Dingboche through Pangboche and alpine landscapes.

7. Day 07

   Dingboche Acclimatization

   Take an acclimatization hike and prepare for higher altitude.

8. Day 08

   Trek to Lobuche

   Move through Thukla and the memorial ridge to Lobuche.

9. Day 09

   Everest Base Camp

   Reach Gorak Shep, visit Everest Base Camp, and return to Gorak Shep.

10. Day 10

    Kala Patthar and Helicopter Return

    Hike Kala Patthar early, then take a helicopter return when conditions allow.

11. Day 11

    Kathmandu Rest Day

    Rest in Kathmandu or use this as a weather contingency day.

12. Day 12

    Departure

    Transfer to the airport for departure.
