Overview

The Everest Base Camp Trek follows the classic Khumbu trail from Lukla to the foot of the world's highest mountain. With two acclimatization days built in at Namche and Dingboche, the itinerary is designed for steady altitude gain, reduced AMS risk, and a proper weather buffer for the Lukla flight. You pass through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorak Shep before reaching Base Camp and the Kala Patthar viewpoint at 5,545m.
