Overview

This 3-day tour takes you from Pokhara deep into the Mustang region. Passing Tatopani's hot springs and Jomsom, you reach the ancient gateway village of Kagbeni. On Day 2, ascend to the holy Muktinath Temple at 3,800m before descending to the charming apple-growing village of Marpha. Day 3 is a scenic return journey through the Kali Gandaki Valley back to Pokhara.

Day-by-day Itinerary

Pokhara → Kagbeni via Tatopani

Drive from Pokhara to Beni, pass the Tatopani hot springs, continue through the windy town of Jomsom, and arrive at the ancient village of Kagbeni for overnight stay.

Kagbeni → Muktinath → Marpha

Drive to the holy Muktinath Temple at 3,800m for a morning visit. Afterward, descend via the iconic Kali Gandaki Riverbed to the apple-growing village of Marpha for your overnight stay.

Marpha → Pokhara

Enjoy a scenic, bumpy 4WD ride back down through the Kali Gandaki Valley, arriving in Pokhara by late afternoon.
